How we handle the information you give us through this website. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who we are
Albon Group Ltd operates albonlogistics.co.uk and provides delivery and courier services across the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17504405; our registered office is 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU.
Contact us about data protection by email at admin@albonlogistics.co.uk, by phone on 07863 572454, or by writing to our registered office.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, collection and delivery postcodes, preferred delivery date and time, service and item-size choices, and any description you choose to provide. The contact form collects your name, email address, optional telephone number and message.
Our hosting and form-delivery providers may also process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser information, request time and security logs. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
You provide this information directly to us. Required fields are needed so that we can understand and respond to your request; if you do not provide them, we may be unable to give you a quote or reply.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to price your job, respond to your enquiry, carry out the delivery and keep an appropriate record of the work. For quote requests and accepted jobs, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract. For general enquiries and service security, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to customers and protecting the business. Accounting and tax records are kept where necessary to meet our legal obligations.
We will not send you marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are processed for us by Web3Forms, a service operated by Web3Creative, and delivered to our business email provider. Web3Forms states that it forwards rather than stores form submissions, although limited server logs may be kept temporarily. Our hosting and email providers also process information needed to host the site, secure it and deliver messages.
Web3Forms states that it operates from India and uses infrastructure that may process information in multiple regions, including servers in the United States. Its terms incorporate a data processing agreement and its privacy policy describes contractual safeguards for international transfers. Where information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we assess the transfer and use a lawful UK transfer mechanism where required. You can contact us for more information about the relevant safeguards.
We also share only the information needed to complete a delivery with authorised drivers or delivery partners, or information we are legally required to disclose. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed deliveries are kept for six years where needed for accounting, tax, contractual or insurance purposes, then securely deleted. Web3Forms states that its temporary server logs are deleted periodically, approximately every two months.
Cookies and temporary browser storage
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If you choose to continue from the quick-quote form, the two postcodes and selected service are held in your browser's session storage solely to transfer your requested quote details to the next page without putting them in the URL. The draft is removed as soon as the quote page reads it and is not sent to us until you submit the full quote form.
How we protect information
The website uses HTTPS in production and limits browser connections and form submissions to approved destinations. Access to submitted enquiries is restricted to people who need it for their work. We review access, keep software updated and require our processors to use appropriate security measures.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, have inaccurate information corrected, ask for deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive certain information in a portable format. Contact us at admin@albonlogistics.co.uk. We normally respond within one month.
We do not use the information submitted through these forms to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date shown above.
